Vedanthangal bird sanctuary. An idyllic peaceful location filled with the sounds of birds and more birds. Its about 200 Kms from Chennai. Birds migrate here all year. And I suspect, the scenes in Avatar were probably inspired from this location :)

Potter at work
This was taken at Dakshina Chitra, about 50 Kms from Chennai. It is a place that showcases the 4 southern states of India - TN, Kerala, Andhra and Karnataka. This was in the TN section. This potter was all concentration as he worked on it and the result was, classic. Its all in the concentration.
